Aluminum matrix composites reinforced with Nano-sized particles are widely used for high performance applications such as fields of medicine and engineering like aerospace, defense, automobiles and consumer goods because of their improved physical and mechanical properties. In the present research, Aluminium Alloy (Al6063) matrix was reinforced with Magnesium Oxide Nanoparticles with particle size of 15nm in the weight % of 0.1%, 0.2%, and 0.3%. The process was carried out by stir casting technique at a temperature of 750°C. These Nanocomposites were investigated for the influence of cutting parameters on chips and burr formation in drilling of Al6063/MgO NMMC. The input parameters used are speed, feed, and material of drill tool (HSS&TiN coated HSS). The effects of feed rates, cutting speeds and the material of drill tool on chips and burr formation are studied.Keywords
